How do you fish. I have a lake across from my house but don't know how to fish.?

Answers:
You need a rod and reel and some bait. If you're fishing for catfish, raw chicken liver is the best bait there is. If it's bass, you need a plastic worm or a lure from the sporting goods store. The clerk can help you. For cats, just throw in the baited line and let it sit till you get a bite. For bass, you have to simulate live food for it to hit. Practice makes perfect. Fishing is a great pasttime. Enjoy!

Take a friend along who knows how and let them show you the ropes! Also, watch those fishing shows on tv on Saturday mornings.

You won't get fish for your aquarium from fishing in a lake. Go to a pet store. If you are going fishing for food or sport,look up in your yellow pages under fishing or game and wildlife in the government section.
