How do you de-salinify an aquarium?

Bringing water into where i've got the tank would be a hassle, and the nearest water source is just a little bit salty...any way i can de-salt the water?
Answers:
If it was me i'ld take a sample of the water to my local pet store. Usually if u are buying fish and supplies there they are willing to help. Get the manager or someone who knows fish best. Tablets can be purchased to adjust your water. Get their advice depending on results of the water. Call around first if u feel better and see who can accomondate u best. Also the kind of fish most likely to thrive for u not die. Always save the bodies if they pass and bring them back... again they will test your water. The circle of fish life! Enjoy.
* filter! brilliant also will help
use R.O filter
Water exchanges work quickest. Wait 15 minutes after you swap and test the water.
Reverse Osmosis is the only way to achieve this and it is extremely expensive. The problem there is that along with whatever salt content the water has - it's also going to remove all of the trace elements from the water (so you will have to condition the water with new trace elements afterwards or the fish will not fair well for long).
