How long will my goldfish last without an air filter?

my fish almost looks like a koi but it's smaller and fatter and it has a long tail with two fins and a fin on it's back. He's currently in a bowl with my goldfish and the goldfish is doing fine but my other fish that looks like a koi doesn't seem like it's doing to well so when i searced it said that when fish go to the top of the water blubing it means taht they need more oxygen. I think im getting a tank this weekend (not sure) but i just want to know how long he'll last. I change the water everyday and feed them twice a day. The water stays a medium low temp. Please help!

the air filters do not aerate the qater as commonly pecived. you need water cirulation. an air filter is a way to circulate the water., but just stirring gently a bit would also do.
An air filter?? Um.. .how long can you hold your breath before passing out?? Just kidding, they should be able to live for about a day or so, they need the filter though
999999999999999999999999999999... year
it won't last very long goldfish need air just like us get it one as soon as possible or it could die within 3days to a week
i dunno probably about ten days or something. You could probably go on line to ask.com and find your answer.
how long will you live with out air, same for a fish, they need the same air as we do,
well I am not sure. But, my fish is a beta and he lived in a tank without air filters, or oxygen circulation for about a year so he should be ok for about a year but he wont be happy.
i dont think it will last very long try google or ask.com
AHH!! Don't change your water so much! Your killing them! Google "goldfish care" and read some of the articles. You should change 20% of the water once a week! Your fish are not happy about this!
change the water twice a day until you get your tank this weekend and you should be fine. gold fish are very hardy there in the carp family and need very little care.
When I bought some goldfish I assumed they didn't need a air filter. The last one survived two weeks. I do believe that if you change the water every day can help, especially if you pass the water between two bowls from a hieght a few times to allow some air in. Personally, an air filter sounds like the bets way to go. Good luck. :)
Your problem is likely that you are keeping it in a bowl
Get a bigger tank with fitration!
