hey guys,
im just wondering if i were to buy 2 or 3 small bala shark (silver shark) how long they would last in a 60 Gallon tank... i have read that it takes them around a year and a half to get to 10" but i wanted lots of opinions before i buy!

There are many many factors that contribute to growth.
Overall tank health, how much you feed, how many fish you have with the bala sharks. I've seen 12-15" bala sharks before, but you should see yours get from 4" to about 6-7" in about a year if everything is healthy, well-fed and well-maintained. I don't know how large your's are now is why I guessed the size. They are very active and will also jump out of your tank if it's not covered, so keep that in mind. Good luck!
