How can I tell the sex of my 2 labidochromis Caeruleus?

One of them is bigger, but dont know if its just older with black stripe on dorsal fin and also both fins underneath, and the other has just the black stripe on the dorsal fin? Could I have a male and a female?

It's possible that you have a male and female but these fish are monomorphic in that the sexes look alike. Sometimes males, especially the dominant male when you have several fishes, will be a brighter yellow with darker black stripes than the other fish.

Perhaps the best test will be to see if they breed. Ensure you have a smooth slate rock as that stimulates breeding in this species. Good luck.
