I've got one black moor, one goldfish and one koi, all 1.5" or under. I'm a little short on space and no one will be riding with me to hold the tank. Can I put them in plastic bags or will it kill them? It takes about 2.5 hours to get where I'm going. Any suggestions?

Buy a small stryrofoam cooler, fill half way add stress coat and put small holes in top 3 or 4 for air,put the lid on the fish will settle because its dark, less stress, just remember to look after them frist as soon as you can, have travelled many fish this way with no problems.
Put them in plastic bags. Keep them out of direct sunlight. Shouldn't be a problem.
They should be fine in the bags. Just make sure they don't get hot. You can get one of those Styrofoam boxes and put the bags in there. That way they will be safe and not giggled too much. Have a great trip!!! Good luck;^)
Each in their own bag is fine with lots of air space in the top. (Like they come from the store) Since you have gold fish, I would suggest packing them with ice since koi and goldfish will start to hybernate if the water temps drop below 50. If you can at all place them in your refrig the night before. DO not bag them until the next day. That way they will have slowed their oxygen intake. DO NOT feed them. Place ice in a small cooler or something that will hold water. Put a cloth between the ice and the bags. this will keep their oxygen intake low and their stress level down. they will be fine. you can even shake the bags to allow the water to absorb the oxygen from the air pocket in the bag.

NO NO NO NO NO NO. Don't DARE use bags unless you pack them with oxygen! You'll arrive with three dead fish, as goldfish are quite filthy and use a lot of oxygen when they swim. The water in those closed bags only has so much. Fish should never be in a bag without oxygen for longer than 45 minutes.
Use a five gallon bucket. Pack it into the floorboard of your backseat and cover it with something that allows gas exchange (like a t-shirt) and make the drive like that. If you can, get a battery-powered air pump for the trip and put an airstone in the bucket with them.
put the fish in a plastic bag, and put that in a styrafoam box with a lid. The styrafoam will keep the water at the right temp longer, and the bag will keep the from splashing around.
in a transporter fish tank and leave the Air conditioner on all time so that the water not get overheat in your car while you are driving
put them inside a plastic bag with enough oxygen, then put the bags on styrofoam to reduce bumpings.
oh yes, and before you put them in, dont feed them as they'll stain the water with poo, also, it is a good idea to give their water an anti stress liquid, or sorta like that - sold in pet stores, so that they don't get stressed and die on the way.
avoid giving them direct sunlight, keep 'em in cool place, they'll be fine that way.
