How can I make my fish love me?

Fish aren't usually the type of pet to get when you want to feel loved. They are very enjoyable to watch and their movements can be quite soothing. If you have more than one fish then they will interact with the others in the tank and will respond to you when they know that they are going to be fed. You can feel love for you fish, but I think that if you truly want your fish to love you back you might feel a little disappointed.

feed them, and clean their tanks. if you notice, when you feed them, they come to the front of the tank, but when you leave them alone, they are usually at the back. often times, they will regonize your face as well or sounds and come to the front of the tank, but if a new person comes to look at them, they hide or go in the back. good luck.

you can't make them love you, but you can make them recognize you. Depending on what type of fish,get treats for that breed. And stay at the tank while you drop it in. Keep your face close to the water(but not too close or your freak out what little brain they have!) while you drop the treat in. Some fish will actually pop their head out to take it. But that takes a long time and patience! Realize that they don't have a long attention span...why do you think a gold fish is happy in that bowl...he forgot he was already there.

Press your face up against the tank window, make sure to be smiling a loving smile. Now wink 3 times when you do this to let the fish know you are a welcoming and caring individual.
