I spent hours and hours and all my skills of Engineering on this once. I spent 5 months assembling parts and spent like 15 grand. i made one that was about 5 feet long and i coated it with water proof paint and i welded all the joints. I made the perfect monster... but i wasnt good enough to make it water proof. I took it to my uncle who has a PhD in marine engineering and he made a few adjustments and made it light enough to float and i put in a expensive motor. In the end 2 years passed and i grew out of it. Right now it sits in my backyard shed and once i make a giant pool for my Red Devils ill throw him in there for fun xD
go to rocket science school or you can purchase the plans for $87 from mgms tech

Um... not to burst your fantasy bubble of scaring the crap out of your neighbors on the lake, but you need to consider something first.

SHARKS AREN'T FOUND IN LAKES!!!
I think you might want to rethink this they made more than one shark they also said that they had tons of problems to get it to work right . Im all for diy stuff but Im not going to tell someone to try it as the overal cost is out of this world.
But hay if you want to make a shark that looks like jaws that has no moving parts that can be done. its not easy but you could do it for about $200. and alot of time
